Pertandingan Debat Piala DYMM Sultan Zainal Abidin PDPSZA 2009 - UiTM Dungun...

well so long didn't jot down anything..
last thursday on 25th of june IPGM kampus sultan mizan send a team of bM and a team of english debate for PDPSZA debate competition at UiTM Dungun,,
As for me, i joined the english team with jeff, asraf and nina..
our usher from uitm is fadhil..
well his very sporting although a bit quiet.. but he still can get along with us...
this is our competition result...

26th june 09 (friday)..
1st match ....
IPGM KSM (gov) VS UMP A (oppo)
IPGM KSM = 1st jeff, 2nd nina, 3rd asraf
Motion = This house believe imprisonment is not the solution
Margin = 9
Win = UMP A
Best Debater = UMP A, yee chuen i think..

so we got -9 margin...huhu..
drop down to the 2nd match...

KIST (gov) VS IPGM KSM (oppo)
IPGM KSM = 1st jeff, 2nd ME!, 3rd asraf
Motion = This house would make semester break shorter
Margin = 6
Win = IPGM KSM
Best debater = mE! Haha..


3rd match...
IPGM KSM (gov) VS UiTM Dungun A (oppo)
IPGM KSM = 1st jeff, 2nd ME!, 3rd asraf
Motion = This house would allow domestic helpers to take one day off
Margin = 2
Win = IPGM KSM
Best debater = Habibah from UiTM Dungun A...

4th match..
UIAM A (gov) VS IPGM KSM (oppo)
IPGM KSM = 1st jeff, 2nd ME!, 3rd asraf
Motion = This house would stop "Akademi Fantasia"
Margin = forgot la.. 2 i think...
Win = IPGM KSM
Best debater = Me! OMG!~ Haha..



end of 1st day.....
2nd day...

5th match..
IPGM KSM (gov) VS UMP A (oppo) again.....
IPGM KSM = 1st jeff, 2nd ME!, 3rd asraf
Motion = This house would have harsher sentences for the celebrity criminal
Margin = 2
Win = UMP A again...
Best debater = UMP A...

therefore, by 3 wins and lose 2, with margin positive 1, IPGM KSM qualified to go for quarter final round...

IPGM KSM = 1st jeff, 2nd ME!, 3rd asraf
Motion = Footbal player transfer should be regulated..
Margin = didn't announced...
Win = IPGM KSM... OMG~~!

That night, when the result for the quarter final is out, we didn't expect to win with UIAM A...
it was a though match...

Semi final round...
UMP A (gov) again.. VS IPGM KSM (oppo)
IPGM KSM = 1st jeff, 2nd Nina, 3rd ME!
Motion = This house believe that there should be another form of preventive law
Margin = 10.6 OMG~! Hahah.. It was a clash case..
Win = UMP A of course.. haha..
Best Debater = UMP A

well.. overview from the competition it self, our team manage to reach semi final, which is a very high level of the debate competition itself..
it was a very good achievement...
overall, we do have fun and enjoy all the way from the debate..
Thanks to our usher fad..he really helping us..
great competition...
